This book has taken more than two years to establish its contents and set up its format. It has been edited and based primarily on questions answered by Adil Salahi and a group of Islamic scholars in the English daily, ARAB NEWS published in Saudi Arabia. The knowledge of Islam belongs to no single individual, community or nation but to mankind. It is not knowledge put forward and instituted by man but is divine and given to us by Almighty God, the Creator, as revelations to Muhammad (PBUH) His Messenger and Prophet. There has been a dual purpose in selecting questions for this book. Firstly, to arouse the curiosity and secondly to provide information on Islam not only to Muslims but also to Non-Muslims. The knowledge of Islam available in this book shall be useful to every individual of the Muslim family. It answers questions discussed or talked about by Muslims every day of their lives. It also provides information to the Non-Muslims, desirous of knowing more about Islam and at the same time clears up many of the misconceptions about Islam prevailing the west. Above all, it will also greatly assist students of schools, colleges and universities on the fundamentals of Islamic teachings. |
